It's Winter!

… and as such, don’t expect photos without snow in them for about six months. I do hope to have lots of new photos early next week, however, since I’ll be caribou hunting along the Dempster Highway over the weekend. Wish me luck. Until then, here is my first winter photo of the year.

I’m actually excited to see what kind of winter photos I can produce this year, since I understood far less about my camera and photographic technique in general at the end of last winter.

Watch out for Conservation Officer Klein. Actually you'll probably have your animal before he goes up the Dempster for a 4 day patrol beginning on Thursday. I'm sure all your permits are in order. Good Hunting.

Good Luck Andrew! There isn't much snow up there for this time of year.

Karen, believe it or not, we really don't get very much snow this far north. The amount of snow in the photo is normal for this time of year.

There's snow in Sydney which is very abnormal for this time of year: it's summer!

How was the hunting? I hope there are some adventure stories coming our way. I do like adventure stories.
