More Family Photos

I just finished uploading some more old scanned photos, including one of my personal favorites.

I like this one because it gives me hope. I mean, if that guy (my dad) could get his life in order, there may yet be hope for yours truly.

There's always hope.

Andrew, I saw a photo at your mum's blog of the Northern Lights which was taken by you recently. It was an amazing photo! Did you take anymore photos at that time? If so, are they uploaded to your photo site?

That was the only photo that I took of the Northern Lights at that time that actually turned out. It was -45 C. and my camera had been outside for some time. It would only work for a short period of time and then quit, so I was limited in what I could do. Northern lights photos are normally very long exposures.

Alas! Well that one is great. Perhaps you need to slay some furry animal and make a little wooly cover for your camera...

I don't seem to have much luck with slaying furry animals, unfortunately. Luckily, I don't use my camera very often in the extreme cold.
